| Crazy thing happened to me yesterday. After making a copy of a
key at a hardware store, I hand the guy a crisp fifty dollar
bill. He looks at me and says "It's only 75 cents!". I go,
"All I have are fifties." A normal looking Chinese lady (in her 30's) sees what's going
on and says "I have change, I'll pay for it." She hands the guy a
dollar bill and the cashier asks if she knows me. I look at her and
she is a complete stranger. She says no she doesn't know me. At
this point I tell her to put her money away and I'll just pay for it
with my fifty. The guy takes the money and gives me change. I
said goodbye to her and went out the store. The reason for this
post? I'm glad to see there is still goodness and humanity in
this world. Though it may be something as trivial as 75 cents, it
really made my day.

| Anyone with plans for Thanksgiving? Last Thanksgivin' was FUN! Who liked my Iron Chef skills?
Edit: I actually made a Chinese Turkey (a chicken) and stir fried shrimp and broccoli. Damn it was so untraditional. |

| Tis the season to BBQ. Got it started off with some hamburgers,
shish kabobs, sausages, and a tall glass of iced tea. Damn it was
good.

| Hong Kong was FOBulous. The humidity was almost unbearable.
Food was great for the most part. Had the best wonton mein and
tuna sashimi of my life even though I am not particularly fond of
either. The most enjoyable food I ate while being in HK? Had to
be the fresh geoduck sashimi which I had entirely to myself. The
McDonald's in HK actually served fried chicken and a cup of corn.
Wonder when this trend will hit the U.S.
